We are two weeks into 2016 and want an update on how everyone is getting on with their new years resolutions? or perhaps you did not want to do the ‘resolution thing’ this year and instead use a different method of motivation? we want to hear about that too!

We Recently took a trip to absolutely beautiful Lanzarote over the festive period, and got busy taking advantage of the gorgeous backdrop of the ocean and performing Pilates on the beach! (can’t be bad) so we want to share with you for this Workout Of The Month a Pilates take on a ‘Straight Leg Extension’ moving into a ‘Full Plank’ and for the more advanced a ‘Single Leg Full Plank’.
The Straight Leg Extension is great for working on that ‘booty’ and ensuring a nice tone and shape! as well as engaging the core.
Planks work multiple areas from your calfs all the way up to your shoulders and everything in between! a fantastic exercise for building strength and tone and one that should definitely not be overlooked!
